In precalculus today, we looked at the idea of combining functions. The general formulae for adding and subtracting functions are:

Addition: *h*(x) = *f*(x)+*g*(x) = *(f+g)*(x)

Subtraction *h*(x)= *f*(x) +*g(*x)= (*f-g)*(x)

For homework, you are asked to complete **questions 7, 8, 10 and 12-14 on pages 58-60** for homework. This is to be done for class tomorrow.
