Precalculus- Wednesday, February 11, 2009

In precalculus today, we looked at the idea of combining functions. The general formulae for adding and subtracting functions are:

Addition: h(x) = f(x)+g(x) = (f+g)(x)

Subtraction h(x)= f(x) +g(x)= (f-g)(x)

For homework, you are asked to complete questions 7, 8, 10 and 12-14 on pages 58-60 for homework. This is to be done for class tomorrow.
